AIDKA Board
The AIDKA Board is the governing body of the Australian Independent Dirt Kart Association Inc. (AIDKA) and holds ultimate responsibility for the leadership, governance, and strategic direction of dirt karting in Australia. The Board ensures that the organisation operates in a safe, fair, and sustainable manner for all participants while upholding AIDKA’s values and objectives.
The Board’s responsibilities include:
5. Sub-Committee and Advisory Oversight
- Approving and reviewing rules, technical regulations, and policies that govern competition, safety, and operational standards.
- Ensuring that decisions align with the principles of fairness, integrity, and equal opportunity.
6. Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement
- Representing AIDKA and advocating for the interests of members, clubs, and the wider motorsport community.
- Building partnerships with external stakeholders, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to support the growth and sustainability of dirt karting.
7. Risk Management and Safety
- Ensuring the safety of participants, officials, volunteers, and spectators at all events.
- Implementing effective risk management strategies, incident reporting systems, and compliance programs.
8. Accountability and Transparency
- Reporting to members on AIDKA’s performance, financial position, and key decisions.
- Promoting open communication and consultation with clubs, members, and officials.

- Ensuring compliance with the Constitution, by-laws, and relevant legislation, including safety and motorsport regulations.
- Maintaining high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct across all levels of the organisation.
2. Financial Management
- Overseeing the development and approval of budgets, financial statements, and long-term financial plans.
- Ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and transparently to support AIDKA’s objectives and events.
3. Policy and Regulation
- Approving and reviewing rules, technical regulations, and policies that govern competition, safety, and operational standards.
- Ensuring that decisions align with the principles of fairness, integrity, and equal opportunity.
4. Strategic Planning and Development
- Driving initiatives that grow participation in dirt karting at all levels, from grassroots to elite competition.
- Supporting innovation in training, driver development, officiating, and event management.
