DIRT KARTING OF AUSTRALIA DRIVER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

AIDKA is proud to introduce the Driver Development Program, an initiative designed to enhance the driving skills, knowledge, and confidence of our members — particularly within the junior ranks, though the program is suitable for drivers of all ages and experience levels.

This program will be available for all clubs to utilise during Education and Practice Days, offering a structured approach to improving driver performance and safety.

Ultimately, the Driver Development Program aims to create a safer and more enjoyable racing environment for all participants.

Acknowledgements

The Driver Development Program was originally developed by members of the Loxton Kart Club, who generously allowed AIDKA to adopt and share it throughout the association.

AIDKA extends sincere thanks to:

for their dedication and the many hours spent designing, testing, and refining this program over several years.

Both the Loxton Kart Club and the Dirt Trackers Kart Club played instrumental roles in the program’s development and implementation, helping shape it into the comprehensive and effective initiative it is today.

Implementation

All clubs are encouraged to integrate the Driver Development Program into their Education and Practice Days.

By embracing this initiative, each club contributes to the ongoing improvement of driver standards and the overall quality of dirt kart racing across Australia.
