Sub-Committees – Dirt Karting of Australia

To support strong governance and the effective management of the sport, Dirt Karting of Australia (AIDKA) has established a number of specialist sub-committees.

These sub-committees operate under delegated authority from the Board to focus on key areas such as finance, officials, technical regulations, safety, rule changes, marketing, and the national calendar and events. Each sub-committee brings together people with relevant skills and experience to:

  • provide detailed advice and recommendations to the Board
  • implement and oversee specific policies, programs and projects
  • support clubs and officials in their respective areas
  • help ensure consistency, safety and fairness across the sport

While sub-committees play an important operational and advisory role, the AIDKA Board retains ultimate responsibility for the governance and strategic direction of Dirt Karting of Australia.

Our Sub-Committees consist of the following

The Publicity & Marketing Sub-Committee assists the Board in promoting AIDKA as a sport and brand.
The Committee develops marketing and promotion strategies, explores media opportunities, and works to grow awareness of dirt karting among current members, potential participants and the wider community. It supports clubs with event promotion where needed and identifies advertising and sponsorship opportunities to help raise the profile and image of AIDKA nationally.
