A Weekend to Remember in Wagin

Wagin played host to the 2026 Curtis Electrical WA Dirt Kart Titles, with Great Southern Kart Club welcoming drivers, crews and supporters for one of the biggest weekends on the WA dirt karting calendar.

Mother Nature did her best to disrupt the weekend, but the dirt karting community rose to the challenge. Thank you to everyone in the pits for being flexible as the schedule changed, and to the track crew and officials for their hard work in challenging conditions. Together, you helped us complete the event.

To every driver who lined up on the grid: thank you for being part of the Title. Congratulations to our new and retaining WA Title plate holders. You’ve earned the right to carry those plates into the year ahead, and we can’t wait to see them out on track.

An event like this depends on far more than the racing. Thank you to the pit crews, families and supporters who made the trip, and to the volunteers who gave their time throughout the weekend. Every contribution helped make the event a success.

Great Southern Kart Club deserves special recognition for the work that went into hosting the Title. Congratulations to the committee, members and volunteers on delivering a memorable event despite everything the weather threw your way.

That’s a wrap for Wagin. We’ll see you at Jennacubbine Dirt Kart Club for the 2027 WA Dirt Kart Titles!
