Please be advised that the Rule Changes discussed at the April & June 2026 Council Meeting (as well as posted on the Dirt Karting of Australia website) where successfully voted in by clubs. These rule changes have been implemented into the Dirt Karting of Australia Rule Book effective the 13th July 2026.
The changes are as follows and are in yellow highlighted text in the 2026 Dirt Karting of Australia Rule Book (Version 13th July 2026):
- 2026-07 – Rib Vests
- 2026-08 – Rib Vests & Suits
- 2026-09 – Appendix E (Novice Driver 4 Stroke Use)
- 2026-10 – Rule 8.13 – A Open
- 2026-11 –New Rule 8.14 – A Open
- 2026-16 – Rule 13.13.8a – Transponders
- 2026-17 – Rule 13.13.8b – Transponders
- 2026-18 – Rule 13.13.8c – Transponders
- 2026-19 – Rule 13.13.8d – Transponders (New Rule)
- 2026-20 – Appendix A Rule 25a & b
- 2026-21 – Definition of Baulk Line (New Definition)
- 2026-22 – Appendix A Rule 25c – Baulk Line (New Rule)
- 2026-24 – 14.35 – Clubs adopting rules from Appendix A (New Rule)
- Penalty Handbook Updates.
Please note that the following rule changes where successfully voted in however will not be implemented until after the running of the 2026 NT Dirt Kart Title. Members will be advised when these rules become effective,
- 2026-13 – Rule 18.3 – 3 Heats, Heat 4 Highest Points to the Front, Rear or Not used & Final (optional)
- 2026-14 – Rule 18.2 – Meeting Position 4, 6 or 8 Heats with Option to Drop the Worst Heat
- 2026-15– Rule 18.1 – 4 Heats & Final (Optional) Accumulated points or 4 Heats (with a Final only to decide the Winner)
